Music Psychotherapy

Music psychotherapy is a music-centered form of therapy that uses deep listening to create space for reflection, connection, and self-exploration. The music might be chosen together, whether it’s recorded or created by you, by me, or both of us. There’s no right or wrong way to engage. You are invited to deepen your experience creatively through art-making or movement, or to focus more internally by listening with your eyes closed and sharing what you notice in the moment. The key is to allow whatever arises to be present, with the music gently supporting the process.

Each session offers space to check in, reflect on what’s happening in your life, and explore what feels important. Music can help bring what lies beneath the surface into awareness, deepening understanding and connection. It can hold difficult emotions, offer support and healing, and bring movement where things once felt stuck. Over time, this process can open new perspectives and a renewed sense of direction and connection with yourself and others.

Process & Fee

If you’re interested in knowing more about how it could work for you, you can get in touch with me through the website. We’ll arrange a first meeting to get to know each other and see whether it feels like a good fit. If we both feel it’s right to continue, we’ll decide together when to begin the process.

Sessions are £70 for 60 minutes, with some flexibility depending on individual financial circumstances.
